We are proud that #ADNOC Offshore has successfully drilled one of the longest wells in the world on the Umm Al Anbar artificial island. At just over 40,000 feet (12,000m), the well is longer than Abu Dhabi’s Corniche!

#ADNOC pioneered the use of artificial islands and this has enabled us to drill longer wells using industry leading techniques and technology. The use of artificial islands allows us to minimize the impact of our operations on the environment while at the same time maximizing the efficiency of our operations.
